Default I need some help with windows live messenger

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all;
I've been trying to get my Windows Live Messenger to work on my 8830 ever since I bought it. When I try and sign in it says that my handheld does not have the required service books. I've searched this site and I haven't really been able to find anything. Mainly because I don't understand what some of the terms mean! If someone could give me a simple to follow explanation of how to get it to work I would really appreciate it. I use Bell, and a Mac if this helps.

Try removing the application, rebooting, then reinstalling?

hmm;
that didn't seem to work. I'm still getting the same service book messages. Anyone, have any other suggestions?

that was happening to me, i downloaded some service books from here installed them and then that issue went away... but NOW when i try to connect it says connection error (65) receiving data from the server, ive already reinstalled WLM a few times...any thoughts?

I couldn't get WLM to work either, so I bought IM+, which has pretty much all the messengers, so now I can use my WLM, AIM, etc, with no problem. It was a one time cost, but since I use messengers a LOT, it was worth it to me.
