Default Sprint, cant JOIN conf calls anymore?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey all, I had purchased this 8703e because of the feature that allowed you to "Join" conference calls if you were on the phone w/ 1 party, and another party called you.

However, after being activated a while with Sprint, I noticed my firmware was overwritten and that nice feature (and other conf call menu features) were changed back to the old ways (like my 7250).

Is there a way to keep the blackberry from changing it's setup? Or is that just going to be something that (sob) i have to live without?

I do 3-way calls on my 8703. What firmware does your device have installed?

i will have to check on OS ver. I thinks 4.12?

When I first bought the phone, it had the option to JOIN calls and had a different in call menu.

Now the only way i can do a conf call is if Inbound; press 3 way call - call party, then flash (the old school way).

There are no options (like with original out of box software) to drop specific lines, etc.

There is no option if i am on a call, get an inbound call - that I can join calls.

Are other sprint bb users still able to do this?
