Default BB newbie: getting a Telus 7250 online?

Please Login to Remove!

I finally upgraded my old PCS phone to the Blackberry 7250 today after reading some very positive reviews. After searching every option on the phone this evening I discovered that there isn't an HTML browser! I realize this is old news to everybody else, but it was the main selling point on the unit for me.

I'm an individual user with no chance of convincing my company to get a server license (BES?). What are my options for IM and HTML browsing? I've read some posts on how to configure it manually but none of it seems to apply to my (crippled?) Telus unit.

Does anybody have any suggestions? The email is great, but I'm really anxious to get a functioning web browser in addition to the standard Telus WAP browser.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Update:
So my friendly Telus rep has informed me that HTML browsing is definitely not supported. He says that he's "heard" things about RIM developing a "non-BES" browser. I'm taking that with a grain of salt.

So I'm back to my original question now....are there any Canadian BES providers that I can use with my Telus plan? I really didn't want to have to pay an additional fee on top of my data plan, but if it's reasonable I would consider it.

Also, I'm still curious if I'll definitely be able to use HTML browsing if I sign up for one of these BES things?
