Default 8830 Radio Quality

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know if the 8830 has the same cdma radio as the 8703e? Alltel is getting the 8830 and I wanted to make sure that the RF was going to be similiar or maybe better before I buy one.

Thanks for the help

Sorry, I messed up. Maybe they need the term "Forum Rage" instead of "Road Rage".

Mods, could you please move my post to the correct place?

Hardly rage. More annoyance. Go in peace.

I noticed you have not received a repsonse yet on this question...I have no experience with the 8703 series but...I used to have the 7250. It was a tank, the radio was fantastic. It would work anywhere. I upgraded to the 8830 and the radio is pretty good. It still pulls a great signal. I have not had any problems. In the fringe areas, it's get's about 1 less bar from the 7250 but it still works. I think you will be pleased with the 8830 signal.
