Default Syncing Outlook 2007(Vista) with my 7100.

Please Login to Remove!

I have a client with a 7100 and he told me it will not allow him to sync his 7100 with his outlook using his new os now(vista). Now ive seen a few solutions named here but im wondering if anyone has anymore so I have a few things for him to try. Ive heard:

1: Upgrade to Desktop manager v4.2 sp2
2: Make sure theres no empty contacts
3: do a reset on the device(ie. battery pull)

Anything else?

I just resolved today (after talking with RIM directly for a quite a while) my Vista synchronization issue. The key was to turn off antivirus when installing Desktop Manager. I did all sorts of install and uninstall, 4.2 SP1, 4.2 SP2, etc. It was the no antivirus installation that did the trick.

Works great now.
