Just got a T-mobile 7290 yesterday. Turned it on used it till dead battery, then charged overnight about 7-8 hours. Was on all day with moderate to heavy usage for 16 hours now is dead. Is this normal?

I am going to let it drain and discharge then charge over night.

What do you recommend?

I think a couple of power cycles should do it. I experience similar battery oddities. I charged mine for like 8 hours and it went only to 85% the first night. Now it goes full and lasts long.

discharging means letting the phone die on its own right?


also how many times should i do this?
