They asked if i purchased the phone locally or from overseas,they asked what i got with the phone and if i have some information that's on the box because they will need it in order to have it set up. if not i might have to send it back to the carrier overseas to have it unlocked from their service. As long as it is either:
A - Unlocked
B - Locked to your carrier
The only information the carrier will need is the IMEI and PIN numbers. These are available from the menu - settings - status screen.
If they are asking for something other then those items they dont know what they are doing and you should speak to someone who is more technical at your carrier.
