I have an 8703e while im tethering i can do it for about an hour in all of sudden my phone will reboot as anyone had this issue and what I can do to fix it.

I've had that happen a couple of times too. I don't think it's tied to how long I'm connected. I've stayed connected for hours at a time and no rebooting. It seems random. I have no idea how to fix it. Sprint thinks I'm crazy.

Yeah I dont know what it is i just gave an hour as an example but like as im writing this the minute I tried to connect it rebooted twice I juts took the battery out of my phone and now its fine. Maybe its a memory issue hmmm

My Blackberry also reboots at random times, mostly when i'm tethered. But I also notice it reboot when I'm not connected to tethering.

I have Verizon, and I noticed you all have Sprint... so I guess it's not carrier-specific.

Any ideas? I've called Verizon and they had be do a hard reset, the problem doesn't happen as often, but it still happens. My next step is to call them to get a replacement Blackberry. I have the 8703e from Verizon.

I've had mine reboot once while not tethered. It happens about once every couple of days. It's not a big deal but it shouldn't be happening. Has anyone tried to connect the problem to a particular theme? I think I've had it happen more using the iPhone theme. Right now I'm using the standard theme and I've been connected for an hour and a half without any rebooting. Just a thought.

How about any third-party apps? I have Gmail, Google Maps, and Rooster. I also recently downloaded JiveTalk and BBTV, but this problem has occured before downloading them.

I have the same problem as well as one of my co-workers. We found that if you pull the battery before you plan on using it to tether it seems to take care of the re-booting problem. Just a option.

Has anyone found a solution for this? This is also happening to me and Verizon thinks I'm crazy. This is very annoying.
