Default Internet/GPS possible without BB data plan?

Please Login to Remove!

Ok i have taken a buddys sim card and put it into my 7100i and now i have a IP address since he has a data plan thru Nextel. I couold not get the browser icon to come up on the home screen. Does anyone know if i could enable web browsing somehow to use the browser on a normal data plan form nextel or am i doomed to pay the $39/mo. for a BB service plan that I do not need? Thanks in advance
