I am trying to update a new Sprint BlackBerry 8703e unit that is running version 4.1.0.384 (Platform 2.2.0.182) of the BlackBerry software with the DST 2007 Patch. When I download the patch and look under Options-2007 DST Patch it states:

2007 DST Patch Manager is running...
Patch not found: Trying again at:
Aug 21, 2007 4:42 PM

I have updated other BlackBerry units without a problem. Has anyone else seen this problem and what is a possible fix? Thanks.

I guess no one else is having this problem? Does the newest version of the BlackBerry software for Sprint have the DST Patch installed already? If so, can I just remove the patch that will not get installed properly? Thanks.

You do not need the patch, it is now included in the OS.

You can delete it, but some IT policies (particularly on a BES configuration) require it as mandatory.
