Default Moving Contacts

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8700 running on a company BES Server. I have been pulling email (we use Lotus Notes) only wireless and have been syncing all else (contacts, calander, tasks with Outlook.

Now I want to move all my contacts, into Lotus Notes and go fully wireless.

How do I get my contacts that are on my 8700 and Outlook into Lotus Notes?

Thanks

The best thing to do would be talk to your IT staff.

Wireless synchronization of contact is a bit tricky for BES/Lotus Notes. You should contact your IT department.

We don't support wireless sync of contacts at place of work.

I know exactly what you are trying to do... Unfortunately, I have been trying to do the same thing. As of right now, because we cannot cable "sync", I am unaware of anyway to move contacts from outlook to Blackberry...My hope is that some web based service will be made available, which will allow me to upload my contacts, however, nothing free yet.

Because we are wireless, and we are using Outlook Connector, the only way would be to have a "wired" hack, which would allow us to download an outlook database. I have not seen this, probably because the Outlook Connector is not very prevalent.

I have seen import utilities, which will convert outlook to Lotus, but not very successfully .. Plus, you use valuable space up on the server..

let me know if you find something different.

My colleague has an E61. He managed to sync the E61 with lotus notes and moved all the contacts into there. He then sent his address book file to our IT people who loaded that into the BES server and its all there now.
