Not specifically.

Most, if not all parts are made in China/Japan, and then imported here by the container. Like screens, which are out sourced to certain japanese companies.

Then they are brought into canada, and assembled here.

Made in Asia, built in canada...just wait till us americans get our hands on it, we'll screw it up ;) haha jk

My 7290 said it was "made in Hungry" inside under the battery and my 8700 says "Made in Canada"

Folks...these days it seems nothing is made here in the US or Canada....they all come in the container from China, Taiwan, India!
