Default Accepting Meeting Invites

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All..this is my first post, most of the time I can find my answers doing a search.

When I receive a meeting invite I have no Accept / Decline options. I've done a search for it, found about 6 pages of relevant information, but nothing that actually pertained to my setup or that had a real answer, so I'm trying a post to see if anyone out there can help.

My Setup:
8830
Verizon
BES - Exchange 2003
4.2 OS
Latest Desktop Manager

My work pc is not with me now so I can't verify any desktop manager settings (connecting to corporate vpn), which is why I need to accept meetings via the BB.

Thanks!

Not sure if it's different with the 8830, but with my 7130e I have to open the message, then click the trackwheel for my option to accept or decline. In your situation with the 8830, if you push the "blackberry logo" button, it should give you a short list of options. One of those options should be "full menu" and in there should be your ability to accept/decline meeting requests....hope it helps!

yea...no option to accept / decline under Menu either...
(thank you for the quick post, though!)

when I click menu I get:

help
find
select
----
mark unopened
file
save
reply
forward
forward As
Reply to All
Delete
----
email doe, john
----
show address
view folder
previous item
next item
next unopened item
add to address book
------
switch application
close

Trackball click gives me:

file
reply
forward
reply to all
delete
----
full menu

...I have re-activated with our enterprise server numerous times with no change.

Check this thread. It looks as though the person had to enable wireless synchronization of his calendar: Accepting meeting invites and filed messages

I saw that...but I can't get to my desktop manager software right now. I guess I will just have to be patient and wait to get my work laptop back.

Is this an option that could be checked on desktop manager on a pc that does not have my email profile setup on it?

That post is 3 years old, you'd think they would make that a default setting after 3 years of upgrades!!
