Default Verizon 8830's - Do Units Sold In Verizon Stores Today Have LATEST OS?

Please Login to Remove!

Curious...if I bought a new Verizon 8830 from a Verison store today, would it have the LATEST OS on it...or is it "hit or miss"..I have a MAC and can't easily upgrade the software later??? Thanks

verizon will update all their phones for you by walking in. you should not be charged for this svc also.

edit: i do belive the mac software can back up the phone, and you should backup before you make em update it.

All the units coming out of the warehouse (i.e. Internet/phone order) have the latest software. The units in the store seem to be dependent on how old their inventory is.
