Hi, I hope someone can help me here. I have a blackberry 8800 from cingular. I bought code and have it unlocked so I can use with other carriers. I tried to make a phone call and it says emergency calls only. I checked the security option and it says IT policy A++++, and it also says security gc enabled. So I wipe the handheld and put in my own password. I can go into the phone by using my password. However, when I try to remove IT policy by using my blackberry desktop, it asks me for a password. I put in the same password as I assigned with the handheld but not successful. Does anyone here know how to solve this problem? much appreciated!

If you purchased the BB, you need to contact the previous owner and that the BB be removed fully from the previous BES system. If you found the BB, try the owner screen to see who it belongs to.
