| Too funny... I have not been to blackberryforums in a while, and came to search for a way to "keyboard" lock it without locking it..
This thread actually answers that. The standby via the mute prevents accidental key presses (in pocket), but once you press the mute key, you can then use the keyboard.
If you do a normal lock, (via k from the home screen), you would need to enter your password if you have it set (most BES users have that pushed down by the admin).
I wouldn't necessarily call it standby, because I still get incoming phonecalls and incoming email tones. |
