Upgraded to 4.1 where are applications?

Default Upgraded to 4.1 where are applications?

I've upgraded to 4.1 and I can't run the 'second tier' apps that aren't in the main window. They show as being installed in Desktop Manager, and if I go to options -- advanced--applications I can see the properties of the apps, but I can't figure out how to launch. Seems to be a problem regardless of which theme I use...

Any idea?

Does anyone know the answer to this? Can anyone running 4.1 find their applications? If so, where?

Are the hidden? Alt + click -> Show All
Are they compatible?
Does a battery pull help?
