Default Changing username for mycingular.com

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to change my username for mycingular.com. When I initially set it up I selected a username that was difficult to guess (thinking it would prevent spamming). I actually need an easier username! I tried creating a new one on the Cingular website and it will not let me. I DO have my current username and password.

Can anyone help? Thanks!

BTW - I have not yet set up any BIS email accounts.

You will need to call AT&T to have them change that.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

Yes you will have to call ATT and get them to put you through to the blackberry data support group. I would ask for them directly and be patient they will ask some questions and try to see if they can do it before putting you thru to the bbsupport! Its their job so don't get angry

Cingulat/ATT will not change the username without "upgrading" to BIS 2.3 I might consider it if I got an att.net address, but not for another mycingular addy-- what's the use?

Now I just have to figure out the proper way to set up the BIS with my Gmail and Comcast emails. Right now even the Gmail is taking as long as 40 minutes to forward an email. ***SIGH***
