Question HELP: AIM for BB 8703e (Verizon)

Please Login to Remove!

I got my 8703e a few days ago, and I'm really wanting to use aol instant messenger from my blackberry. However, I don't have a huge allowance on my data plan, so I was wondering if:

1) Anyone knows of an IM client that uses SMS allowance rather than data

or

2) If I have 10MB of data allowance, will I be able to use AIM without having to worry

Thanks in advance!

Most of the IM clients out there use data. As for how much at a time, I couldn't tell you. 10Mb's isn't much so I'm guessing you could very well go over your data.

The best IM program out there is JiveTalk. It works with all the major IM services. It's not free but is well worth the money.
