| Tap Start > Settings > connections > add new modem connection* > enter name for connection (chose a reasonable name like "T-Mobile GPRS")
Select modem: Bluetooth Dialup Modem
Tap next
Dialing number: *99#
make sure "use dialling rules" is not checked
User name: (leave blank)
Password: (leave blank)
Domain: (leave blank)
Baud rate: 115200
uncheck: "wait for dial tone before dialing"
Set extra dial-string modem command to: +CGDCONT=1, "IP", "wap.voicestream.com"
Leave everything else set to its default settings, which should be:
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
Flow control: hardware
Select TCP/IP tab:
Use server assigned IP address (checked)
Use software compression (checked)
IP header compression (checked)
Select Servers tab and enter the following settings*:
User server assigned address (checked)
Configuration is done.
Now, make sure your are paired. Open browser and it should dial and give you access. |
