Can someone tell me if there are different radios in Blackberry units, besides the network GSM and CDMA. I had a 7100 before and now have a 7250 and feel the telephone option of the unit is of lesser quality in the 7250.

Each device has slightly different hardware in it. However, it's the same frequency, etc. Usually the newer the device the better the technology but that isn't always the case. The 7250 is relatively old technology.
