Hi Everyone,

Because of an issue with the internet explorer with my wife's 8700g, I performed a "wipe blackberry" action. After twenty minutes of the hourglass icon with the message that it was wiping the blackberry, I took out the battery as well. When I put the battery back in, I now have a white screen with a hourglass. The LED light is red in the corner. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get it away from this white screen with the hourglass?

Content Protection was enabled on her Blackberry. A "wipe handheld" can take a couple hours in that case. When content protection is disabled a wipe will only take a couple of minutes.

Give it a couple hours and see if it comes back on it's own. If it doesn't you'll need to reload the OS.
