I've imported my contacts from outlook into my 8830. When I filter on Last Name, it filters on last name but it also shows the person title and company. Is there a way where I can turn off the title and company info or prevent it from showing when I filter on last name or even first name?

I don't think you can at least I haven't been able to figure it out.

hi, unfortunatley i am so new at this i dont even know if i am posting this in the right spot. i am in desperate need of help with my berry.

i have a 8100 pearl. i went to text a random number rather than choosing one from my address book. i did this by pressing filter then some personal option that was available. so i texted that number and now i cannot get back to my original contacts.

everytime i click my address book, it goes to the options to text random numbers. i ve tried everything. please help me! i need my contacts back!

1. Usually you want to create your own post so you don't thread hijack.
2. Go into you contacts, choose filters, uncheck both boxes.

As far as the OP goes, I haven't found a way to get rid of the extra information, unless you exclude the information but it defeats the purpose.
