Does anyone know how to stop the Curve from erasing the call logs and messages randomly. I update the software to the v4.2.2.89 version but it is still doing it.

First I should say that I believe this is the best unit RIM has ever released. With that beind said, the version of handheld code that goes on the 8300 may be the worst ever. I have only rolled out about 50 and we have seen all sorts of issues from camera flash not working, I had a SIM card holder fall out of the device when I opened the battery door. I called T-Support a few times and uploaded many handheld logs, server logs etc. They did create an SDR and told us that AT&T should be putting out a patch soon.

I actually work for AT&T and havent seen too many issues with the device. The number one problem is the constant erasing. I hope to see this patch soon because this is the only reason why people are returning them. Other than that, I have to agree....this is the best device RIM has created.
