Default 8830 international sms problem

Hi guys, I'm having a problems sending international text messages.
I'm with Bell, I own the 8830, and although i am receiveing text messages from the UK (O2 network) that is compatible with bell. I can not reply to them.
I keep getting invalid number from Bell, by text message????

I have tried dialing:
0114475XXXXXXXX
+0114475XXXXXXXX
+4475XXXXXXXX
+75XXXXXXXX

With no succes :( Any help would be appreciated.

when i was using my verizon phone in spain i didn't have to dial internaationally for text messaging to work. I was able to call/text without putting 011. I could text people in the US with no problems and call people in spain with no problems as well.

When I'm in Canada I can make intl calls and receive them, I can also receive intnl text messages, I just cant reply to them...

well, called tech support, seems to be a problem with Bell :(

Try the following:

4475XXXXXXXX


Your phone should be putting the + sign in there automatically. When I was in Greece, my BB usually did a good job of figuring out how to the format the number on its own - that is if I inlcuded the country code and area code, it would determine if they we're needed or not.

nope, it doesnt even want to send it out...

It says: sms error 96, message id 245. general problems
