How can you transfer files to the 8830 blackberry
I want to get a few word and excel documents ony=to my 8830 and can't seem to get them on the unit

I don't do this anymore, but I used eoffice and the program called efile

I have the efile program and it would not transfer files. You can read the excel files received by email fine. I was told by efile help that they are working on the solution for the 8800 series. Not a great answer after spending the $$.

There solution for the shortterm was to download an earlier verision. Still didn't work.

Hopefully they will fix someday

This issue will be fixed in the next version. We have a beta now and are testing it. I could share beta with you. Works perfectly on mine 8830
