Default 8700v

Hi,

I have an 8700v running on Vodafone UK.

My device seems to constantly switch between "GPRS" and "Edge"

Vodafone inform me that they do not support "Edge" and that when the device is reading "Edge" then it is actually not receiving data.

Does anyone know if this information is accurate and if so is there a way that I can prevent the device straying on to "Edge"?

Thanks

Landman

The 8707v only supports GPRS in the US. I thought it was a 3g elsewhere.
