Default Faxing from BB8830

Please Login to Remove!

I'm using a Sprint 8830 and love it to death.

I've been a loyal BB user since the Nixon administration.

I'm also in the business of BB software development with Sprint and RIM (not the technical side, sales/management.)

But i still can't find how to 'fax from BlackBerry'.

It used to be so easy with my 7520, but i don't see it in the manual for the 8830 or here within the forum.

Any ideas?

Since the Nixon administration? silly boy.

Please tell me, how did you fax with your 7520?

Manuals, check with RIM or your Sprint BIS site, or some are here:
Where can I get my device user manual? - BlackBerryFAQ

Good luck, and welcome to the Forums.

Thanks -

As I mentioned previously (see above) the feature does not appear in the owners manual, much like the location of the 'Gitmo mess hall' doesn't exist in the US Marines Field Guide; a la A Few Good Men.

I have the source/directions for faxing from the BB and will post it here soon.

(The Nixon thing was a joke, natch)

and thanks for the welcome!

The 7520 was the iDen BB that Nextel sold. With Nextel is was possible to get a fax option with the VM features. With the PCS CDMA version (8830) it is not possible.

Oh ok--sorta like the "is" in Prez Clinton's memory? Or the alien technology discovered at Area XX?

Did you ever find out how to send a fax with your bb8830? I started looking and if you figured it out, it save me a lot of searching.

Thanks.
