Default Weird Calendar Problem

Please Login to Remove!

I am a part time firefighter, our night shifts start at 18:00 and end on 07:00 the next morning. When I put this in my BB, it displays the start of the shift correctly. But the next day it displays the day view as the shift ending at 13:00. When I open up the appointment, the times are correct. Any thoughts?

WFLDEng611, I just tried a test appointment starting 1800 today and ending 0700 tomorrow and it works as you would expect. I don't see any funny business like you see.

Did you figure out what's happening in your case?

After doing a lot of troubleshooting it turns out this is a bug in the software on the 8703e. I stopped in at the VZW store and had an employee with the same BB do the same thing, and the same thing happened. For some reason the calender does not recognize overnight hours.

So while you're waiting for the bug to be fixed, why not use a workaround: set a smallest-possible duration calendar entry for the start of your shift, and another entry for the end of your shift.
