Default 8707v slow with 4.2

Is it just me or is 4.2 slow. I find occasionally my handset crawls to a halt. Does anyone have a solution?

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry 8700g: BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

The OS is a bit slower than the 4.1 OS. I just changed back to the 4.1 OS recently. Once you start using 4.2 for a while you will get used to the lag.
