Default Using Bberry 8800 with Parrot Handsfree car kit

Please Login to Remove!

Hi, I am a Bberry 8800 user and have purchase a Parrot Handsfree car kit. It seems like the 8800 does not allow to send contacts via Bluetooth one by one but rather in a bundled way [Transfer Adress Book] under Bluetooth settings. Transferring all Adress Book does not work probably due to an incompatibility issue.

Do you know any way to send contacts one by one via Bluetooth?
BBerry's Voice Dialing sucks as apparently it only recognizes English names (John, Jack, Kate etc...) whereas my addess book contains over 1000 different names from different nationalities.

I cannot use Parrot's super advanced Voice Dialing unless I can transfer my contacts one way or another to the handsfree kit.

Your help is much appreciated.

I have this car kit and I am really impressed with it. With standard installation just press the green call button on the parrot and your get the blackberry "say a command"; give any normal blackberry command(s) it the whole thing works perfectly. No problem with oddly sounding names either...

Make sure you have updated your software and paired the two correctly. I have no issues with the address book function or the caller ID function on the LS-3200 Color. However out of the box it did not work correctly, the firmware update solved my problem. I also have a Razr paired with it and that alos functions well. As far as one by one goes, I believe it's all or none.....
