Default Multiple installation of Desktop Manager

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8800 that uses BES with the client and desktop manager loaded on my office PC. Can I install the Desktop Manager software on my home PC without causes any conflicts? I only want to use the Media Manager at home to load data on to the SDMicro disk? Do I need to do anything special when loading the software?

Any help appreciated.

You may need to disable Wireless Reconciliation hooked up at home.

You may be better off if you enable Mass Storage on your SD card, you won't need Desktop Manager and Media Manager loaded, and can just drag and drop files to the card from your PC.

Good luck, and welcome to the Forums.

I'm a Mac user so the Media Manager is not an option for me. I find the Mass Storage/Drag&Drop method so easy though, I just don't miss the Media Manager.
