This it probably a simple fix, but I've yet to puzzle it out. Have an 8830 from Verizon that doesn't show the vmail icon when a new voice mail message comes in.

Tried changing themes and made sure the Call Logging is set to Missed Calls instead of None - that doesn't help.

Any ideas?

Call logging can be set to NONE and this will still work. Are you gettin an SMS message that says there's a new voicemail waiting? If not, that's probably it. Make sure you don't have your Firewall settings set to block SMS.

Contact VZW and have them carefully review the provisioning on your Blackberry.

I had one where whenever the BB user would travel out of his home calling area, the VM indicator would stop working. Even manually turning vm indicator on/off did not correct it. The BB was not provisioned correctly for roaming.
