Default Been using the 8700g for 3 weeks and wow....

Firstly thank you for helping me with my many newbee questions, you really helped me make the right decision.

Up until this point I had never even had a cell phone, lol. So I was not sure what kind of power this device packed.

I was going away for 3 weeks and needed to answer emails since email is the lifeblood of my buisness. In the past trips have been disasters because of the lack of practical internet and email access at resorts, etc.

I was blown away by the way this thing handles email. To get all 8 of my yahoo email addresses to go to one place, and then when i respond, to respond with that particular email address is amazing, and has totally changed how i do email for my business. This thing changed the way I do business, its crazy.

And to be able to talk to my employees through yahoo messenger when i am virtually anywhere is just unreal. Now I can take more trips to the poker room, and vacations and not have to stress out wondering what is going on because i have full control of my buisness with this device.

It is totally insane! I love it.

I dont really care about mp3 players, video or any extra bs. I just need to take care of business. The only draw back is the internet browser dramaticlly reformats web pages, but its not a big deal.

Anyway, another very happy blackberry customer.

I love my 8700g also....one thing you can also do with your BB is to use it as a modem for your laptop. You complained about the lack of reliable internet at the resorts, etc....if you have a data connection for emails and web browsing on the BB, it is also going to work for modem use. Search the threads for instructions, or just PM or PIN me and I will help you through setting it up. Keep enjoying your BB.

Using the bb as a modem can get quite expensive IF he's leaving the country, beware of those roaming data charges
