Hello,

I have three e-mail accounts loaded onto my BB. One is work, the other is g-mail, and the other is my old college e-mail, which i don't use that much, but like having it. Anyhow, my work account does this thing where I don't receive e-mails on my phone as they come in, but at some points (usually every 2-4 hours) all the e-mails that that account has received since the last time it happened all come at once. Obviously, this is annoying, and it's frustrating because they don't always come in the right order.

Anyhow, I was dealing with it, but my g-mail account just started doing this also. Is there anything I'm doing to cause this? Anything I can do to change/fix it? I'm assuming it's a service problem - not the phone, but I'm stumped. AT&T hasn't been much help...

Thanks. My only thing - this has been going on for weeks. Didn't start yesterday. Only started yesterday w/gmail which frustrated me enough to post. If you still think thats the cause, then cool, I can wait it out. But this has been going on for quite a while now. I'm getting the e-mails...just all at once and hours after they came. I don't know...do yall think the two are related??

Understand...... Can't explain your other account, but if gmail problem just started, the BIS outage could be reason. Your problem with other account could be different issue.

What are details of the other account setup. Is it on BIS as well?

My other account is BIS. Set it up on the BB just like all my other ones. I've been working here for about 2 months, and the whole time, the account has done this. When I was at my previous job, the account did the same thing for a period, but eventually (4-5 months later) just fixed itself. I don't know, it's just very odd.

Do you think deleting and re-installing (is that the word...install?) the e-mail accounts will do anything? I don't want to lose all my e-mails on the phone, but if it fixed the problem it would be worth it.

Hey How!! I just watching our local news and they said that BB are having
problems on their mail servers. The problems are getting corrected and should be
all corrected by monday (9/10). Hope this helps
