How to keep APN info from disappearing?

I find I need to constantly re-enter the APN info on my 7100g for a variety of 3rd party apps. Isn't there any way to save it so that once saved it will be there each time I restart the BB? I'm getting tired of having to re-enter it manually every day.

Mine has always stayed until I do a software upgrade.

Same here. Not even hard reset removes apn. Don't have a clue what is going on, unless "restart" means something other than what I think it means...
