Default is there a fee for google maps?

I am new to this site and I have checked the forum for this answer but cannot find it. My carrier is t mobile and I do not have internet on my phone.(only using it for phone and texting right now. my question is, if I download the google mapping is there a charge for it?

You can't use Google Maps without a data plan. It's a free app but requires the data.

And I do recommend getting the unlimited BlackBerry Data Plan should you use this often.

Both BBMaps and GoogleMaps use data, you can't download all of the maos to the device or the data card. Therefore, as previously mentioned, you must have a BB Dataplan to use them.

Default how do I know

how do I know if I have the data plan? I don't want to sound dumb but like I said before this all I had was a regular phone..I have blackberry feature enalber and 400 text/pic messages plus 1000 min a month

Do you have a copy of your T Mobile contract? That will show exactly what you have. If you don't have that, then I'd call T Mobile and ask exactly what you have.
