Default 7100 Keyboard Lock

Please Login to Remove!

Anyone know if there is a way to have the 7100s keyboard automatically lock? It doesn't make sense that they wouldn't include that option.....

Uh, do you mean like:

Options -> Settings -> Security -> Security Timeout?

I don't think the security timeout locks the keyboard. It only locks the device, get my drift?

But without a password, it lets you unlock with the wheel. It is functionally identical to using keypad lock on any other handset.

Default 7100t Keypad lock shortcut

To lock the keypad from the home screen, press and hold * for 2 seconds.

For short cuts go to this page:
http://www.blackberry.com/blackberry...vigating.shtml

On the right hand side you can view/download a pdf file with shortcuts based on the model of 7100 you have.
