Default Can the BB read HTML emails?

Please Login to Remove!

I have the VZ BB 8830 - and I have the BBSmart email script - but when I get emails from like WSJ where they have charts and it's HTML - it comes out looking all strange -

Is there a way I can make it read HTML or is there something I need?
Thanks!

BlackBerry can't view HTML email by itself.
You need third party software, such as BBsmart or Empower, which you say you already have.

If BBsmart isn't working... then you might want to contact the software developer to troubleshoot that.

It's my understanding that blackberry strips out most of the HTML code before Empower or BBSmart can even "do their thing." The only thing they really do is retreive images per the image links and clean up the URL links.
