So when I'm talking and I get another call, I press the green telephone handle button to switch over, then I press the button with the dots on it to select Flash to go back to my 1st call. Fine.

But for some reason sometimes my device won't hang up on that first call, and because of that I can not receive or make any other calls -- no matter what I press. Then my only choice is to either remove the battery or press Alt-Shift-Del (I think that's what I pressed) to reset the device.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there some way to "End all Calls?"

Frustrated for the first time with my new 8830... advise would be appreciated... thanks

When you get another call, you should get a pop-up message saying "Answer and drop this call" or "Answer and hold this call". Using that would be smarter.

Otherwise, when you get that second call, press the menu key instead (instead of the Green Key), and you should have an option to answer new call and allow the old call to disconnect. By pressing the green key while on a call, I believe all you are doing is placing it on hold while answering the other. Thus the first call is never disconnected.
