Strange issue - Some PDF attachments come in as a small image that is not readable even if I zoom in on it...

Others, come in with the image but the text from the image is listed below it... an OCR type of text....

I have a feeling that this is caused by how the PDF is created... scanned from paper or created electronically and then made into a PDF..

If anyone has any idea why this might be doing this, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

Zoom in and then select enhance. It isn't the best solution, but it works.

On my 8700g what I do is press the trackwheel and select View Text. This at least let's me read it, but the formatting is not there. I am using handheld OS 4.2 though.

I'll give both suggestions a try.

Zoom and Enhance worked fine thanks ... it's not the easiest thing to view documents but it does work with a little patience

The View Text option works only on the odd PDF... I think if a pdf is created from word etc. the BES is able to look at it and translate the image into text... if the PDF is from a scan of a paper document, it can't read it and stays in image form on the blackberry... it may be just one of those things ...
