Your best bet would be to call your carrier and find out...but let me ask you...
go to options>Mobile network> now look at "Network Mode"...does it say 1XEV? If yes, then your good. If not, highlight it (scroll down to it) and change it. If you notice that you're having problems with your connection, then like i said before, best bet is to ask your carrier.
