Default retreiving old texts sent to blackberry.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

is it possible to retrieve all the texts sent to my blackberry. or are the texts overwritten by the emails since they share the same memory space.

normally unless you delete the texts, they remain in your phone.

in that case, would it be possible to save the messages in some set space, so that the texts i receive now dont get overwritten?

You can click SAVE on any message, text or email.
Are you losing your SMS messages after a time? You can set them to save longer if you want. Messages > Options > Keep Messages.

Thanks for the reply,

yes i am losing my sms message,s i thought they were being overwritten by the emails,

if i click on a message and hit save, does that mean i save the message for ever and dont need to go into the optiosn to save it in the message options.
i guess the message options apply to sms and not to emails. i clicked on message options --> general options

and then go to keep messages, ut was set to 30 days i changed it to forever,

that shoudl do it, right?
