I have my Verizon 8703e with some downloaded ringtones. I have the phone set to "vibrate & tone". The problem is that when a call comes, the phone vibrates three times, plays the ringtone once and goes silent. Is there a way for it to keep playing the ring until the VM picks up?

Yes, go to Profiles, edit, Phone, edit, and change the number of rings.

You can tell it NO vibrate OR virbate and ring OR ring only.

Set it as you like for both IN and OUT of holster.

I have no choice for number of rings. It says "Number of Beeps" but I have that set at 3 and it still rings once.

you are doing better than i am, bc i still as of yet have not figured out how to do ringtones. i read the faq and searched but since the verizon download for the software manager is not up to date with the verizon device manager software i'm screwed...

what i am getting at is that my os on the device is 4.1.0.33 whatever
and the desktop software is 4.2 hence when i try to use the media manager it is telling me that my device isnt compatible. Verizon doesnt offer 4.2 os software as of yet, and my attempts to find the 4.1 version of the desktop software has been unsuccessful, but wth that link u provided it will be found im sure.

You can't use the media manager with your OS 4.1.

yeah as i just uninstalled the 4.2 and installed the 4.1 i see that...now i need to go to a website. I read the faq, now is thee any that you recommend?
