Default 8703e challenge...

Please Login to Remove!

Hello Everyone. My name is Jake and I've just joined this community. So far, I'm liking the info. I personally am having an issue and it seems to be spreading to other users in my Company.

Our BB's function correctly except for one thing.... they can't send emails. The only way I can send something out is by doing a meeting invite. That's it. If I try to send or reply to anything I get the nice red X. Message status also states that "Desktop Email program unable to submit message". Now I've not even used my desktop software for this Blackberry so I'm not sure where that is coming from. I am on a BES. My BB is an 8703e and my carrier is Sprint.

Any input would be great! I will continue to use google, etc to see what else I can come up with, but I figured the BlackBerry Forums would be a good place to start.

Regards,

Jake

You and the other users need to track down your BES Administrator and have them correct it! If they don't have the answer send 'em here!

First thing they should do is resend your Service Books.

We've already done that.... it did not change a thing. We've gone as far as doing a factory wipe and starting over, no go.

Thanks!

The BESAdmin system account may not have the proper permissions to send the messages. Have the BES Administrator ensure that the service account has rights to all Exchange servers.
