Unhappy OMG Help! :(

This isn't the best first post butttt yeah hey. Well today I bought an 8700 and stupid me decided to play around and think an 8800 theme would work on it buttt after I downloaded it from the browser it just turned off and turns backs on and freezes with a spinning hourglass... please help is there anyway I can do a hard reset from my PC to it? or what? :(

Is it normal for the phone to be having the spinning timeglass for a few mins...as im typing this...

Yes, up to 20 minutes at a time. Don't disconnect.
