I have an 8703e and I could swear when you're on the browser, at the top, you can see the # of unread messages, and there is an envelope icon there too.

Today, it seems as if the browser is taking up the entire screen, and the unread message number is not there.

Any ideas of how this may have happened, and more importantly, how to fix it?

I like seeing the number of messages showing on the browser, so I can switch back and see them.

On the Pearl, the QW key adds and removes the ribbon at the top. Not sure what the key is for the 8700's.

Download a copy of Stinsonddog's Tips for the 8700 series devices. Lots of good stuff there and I'll bet you find that shortcut key.

Thanks so much... for those of you that may have the same issue, when you're on the browser, hit the "U" key and it toggles between full screen and showing the ribbon at the top.
