Default Standby Bug?

Please Login to Remove!

Just got an 8820 and noticed something. Not sure if it's a bug or not...

When I'm running Google Maps, I can't put my BB into standby. If I press and hold the mute button, it says it's going into standby and the screen goes black but it comes right back on with a key press.

I'm assuming this is because the GPS keeps it from going into standby but still seems a little odd to me.

I can't put my Pearl into standby at all while in Google maps. It's the same if I'm on the phone log page.

Interesting. I've noticed that I can't go into standby while in the phone log. It was the same with my Curve. I always assumed that was because you're pressing the mute button and it's tied into the phone log/application though.

Interesting, same with the Verizon 8830. Can't do it in the call log, I've never noticed that..
