Default BB will not delete AOL mail - HELP

Please Login to Remove!

I want to be able to delete my aol mail when I delete it off of my blackberry. Is this possible? My treo did it, hoping I could get the blackberry to do it as well... Any ideas? I tried to reconcile now and that didn't help. I am on enterprise through work and my blackberry deletes my work emails on my pc fine.

Thanks!

Nic

Welcome to the forums.

Just because your enterprise mail works like that doesn't mean your BIS mail will. How is your aol mail setup? Does your IT policy allow you to send mail through AOL or does it all go back through the BES mail system. Many IT departments restrict BIS mail this way. Also, do you have your AOL account set to delete on handheld, both or prompt? Check in Messages >Options >Email reconciliation and check the settings for your AOL account. We just need a little more info.

When i click on Messages, Options, Email Reconciliation I can select Message Services... change to the @aol.com and change it to Delete on handheld and then Delete on Desktop and Handheld... ya think that will work?

Yes. I have mine set to prompt, then I can decide for each individual email but, if you want it to delete on the aol server be sure and select delet on mailbox and handheld.
