Default Opera Mini + VZW

Greetings all...

I have been reading the forums about Opera Mini and was thinking of installing on my 8703e from VZW. I see where some folks indicate that the browser does not work with VZW, while others are saying it works fine with VZW. According to Opera Mini's 8703e support page... "BREW-enabled phones, including Verizon, are currently not supported." What is "BREW-enabled"? And... does this mean that it is not supposed to work with VZW?

I am looking for a better browser than what is provided. If this cannot be used, are there other suggesttions?

Thank you for your time!

Did you install the high or low memory version for your 8703e?
